Meet your facilitator, Luisa
Luisa is originally from Brazil and has called Australia home for 11 years. She loves being in nature and understands us humans as part of it. In the past few years Luisa has been holding safe spaces as a Birthkeeper (certified Holistic Doula), Yoga Instructor (Yin and Hatha Teaching certifications) and Ceremonies & Women's Circles facilitator.
The calling to be of service in those spaces, where openness and vulnerability are often present, has led her to connect with many incredible people and these experiences continue to expand her in profound ways.
Her journey as a Trauma-Informed Breathwork facilitator (trained and certified by Rhythm of Breath) has been her most recent and meaningful expansion of her work. Luisa was driven to deepen her knowledge of the mechanisms of breath through noticing over the years how important the way we breathe is when it comes to grounding into presence, both within the practices she guides and in our day-to-day lives.
She is passionate about supporting people through the processes that bring us back to ourselves, to who we truly are beyond the noise and distractions of this busy world. She believes in our ability to be in our bodies with all that we feel within and to soften into it without trying to fix or change what is there or running away from it.
Luisa's sessions are held with intention and purpose, with an understanding that our bodies can hold deep emotions and experiences. She makes sure that each practice is supportive of the unique individual she is connecting with and takes the holding of a safe space and privacy very seriously.
